Consultations

A cardiology consultation is an in-depth review of a patient's symptoms, physical examination and review of pertinent laboratory studies. Following this review, an opinion may be rendered regarding possible explanations for the patient's symptoms. A plan of action including diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations will be rendered and an explanation provided trying to sum up all of these items. A formal written consultation outlining all of these items will be provided to the referring or primary physician within one business day of the consultation to keep all parties informed.
