Physician Shortage
We are all too aware of the loss of primary care physicians in the Helena area.
As a result of this problem, we have been trying to provide some of this care to
our patients as they come in for their scheduled cardiovascular appointments. We
are not however trying to convert over to all primary care. If you have an acute
non-cardiovascular problem, we would encourage you to go to one of the several
urgent care centers in town or the emergency room. Unfortunately, a solution to
this crisis does not appear to be around the corner as several more primary care
physicians have announced their intentions to leave.
