Body Mass Index

The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a better way to determine if you are at a healthy weight. The higher your BMI, the greater your health risks. Find your height and weight on the table and circle where they meet. See if your BMI fits into the healthy range. Losing weight will lower your risks for diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels and hypertension. Use a low-fat, low-calorie eating plan and more exercise to work towards a healthier weight.
